Held at the Bunjil Place, Narre Warren on Thursday 28th November, Our Year 12 Graduation Ceremony was a final chance to celebrate the achievements of our graduating class of 2019.
With around 700 people in the audience the night was a real success. The pride many parents showed in their students for completing 13 years of education was clearly etched in the smiles of many. Graduation meant so much to the students.
Our Guest speaker Nyadol, told of her journey from Sudan to Somalia to Australia and then to Hallam and into law – what an inspiring narrative for many of the students.
The final tribute – a haka, from the Pacifika parents to their students was a real highlight.
Congratulations to all of our Year 12 students who have now finished their Secondary Education and are about to embark on their next adventures.
To the students who worked hard and are happy with their results, you should be proud of your achievements. For those who may be disappointed, remember that life provides many entry points into satisfying work, study and relationships.
So be ready to recognise the next one and go forward into a bright future.
