The Albury Wodonga trip was a successful one for the Soccer Academy as this was our first win against Wodonga Secondary College in recent years.
All the boys who took part of the team gelled very quickly as a unit, which was great to see for our first game with many new faces added to the squad in 2011.
It was great to start the new year with a win and hopefully continue on a good note and keep doing the right things. All the boys would like to thank Ben McGee and Travis McIntosh for organising the trip and looking after all the student athletes who participated in their sport.
Would also like to thank our coach on the tour Luke Sherbon for helping us string together as a team and leading us to victory against Wodonga. The 3-2 win away to Wodonga has finally brought the shield back to where it belongs.
Head coach Ian Williamson is working with the school, helping the team learn more about Football (soccer) and building a very strong and competitive side.
