Hallam Senior College is excited to announce that it is the first Secondary College in Australia to become a member of Aviation/Aerospace Australia.
Aviation/Aerospace Australia is a national association for the Australian Aviation and Aerospace industries. Its overarching objective is to contribute to the long-term health and sustainability of Australia’s aviation and aerospace sector.
What does this mean for Hallam Senior College?
While our college has been offering various aviation related electives in previous years, this year saw the launch of our Centre of Excellence: Aviation Technology Program. Students now have a unique and exciting opportunity to participate in project-based learning to build their STEM skills and knowledge in the context of existing and developing technologies in aviation and aerospace.
Aviation/Aerospace Australia will provide the essential link for our students to be able to connect with aviation and aerospace industry leaders, access micro-credential courses in Aviation, visit a wide range of aviation businesses and facilities, participate in industry programs and events and access unique and exciting opportunities to explore the aviation and aerospace industry in a way that would otherwise not be possible.
Hallam Senior College is very privileged to have this strong connection with Aviation/ Aerospace Australia and together we look forward to inspiring many of our young people to pursue careers in this vibrant, growing and exciting industry that is Aviation and Aerospace.
