A ‘Floods Benefit’ fund-raising concert on behalf of the City of Casey Mayor, Cr. Shar Balmes is being staged on Saturday, February 12th
A ‘Floods Benefit’ fund-raising concert on behalf of the City of Casey Mayor, Cr. Shar Balmes is being staged on Saturday, February 12th at 7pm in the brand new ‘River Gum Performing Arts Centre’ in Hampton Park.
This fantastic new 500 seat theatre is a unique project of River Gum Primary School and located on the grounds of Hampton Park Secondary College.
The funds raised will be distributed by the City of Casey ‘Mayoral Charity Fund’ to support the flood recovery efforts in Victoria and Queensland.
The crème of Casey’s talent are donating their time and talent to appear in this concert. There are a number of talented local students and teachers appearing including:
- Barb Joseph – teacher at Alkira College will be our host/MC
- Revati Ilanko – teacher at Endeavour Hills SC is a featured dancer
- Ally Johnston, Hayden Thomas & Brittany Leo, students at Fountain Gate SC will be performing
- Shanelle Jacobs, a student at St. Francis Xavier College is singing
- Chelsea Wall, a Berwick SC student is also singing
Other performers include:
- 2010 ‘X-Factor’ Finalist, Madison Pritchett
- Jessica-Jade Bruce & band and Andrew Stringer & band (both former St. Francis Xavier College students)
- Comedians, dancers, concert bands and choirs
