On Friday 19th July, the AFL Girls won back to back AFL Victoria Herald Sun Titles.
They defeated Sacred Heart Geelong in our qualifying game 24 to 9 and played Ballarat Clarendon College in the final, winning 24 to 11.
The final was played in very average conditions with it raining virtually for the entire game. This was an incrediable achievement as it was the first time the girls have played together as our earlier games have seen the schools forfiet to us.
Best players on the day were Karly Tapner (recieved medal for BOG in the final), Brittany Wood (recieved medal for BOG in the qualifying game), Ebony Hobson, Lauren Hutchinson, Rachael Hunt, Cassandra Meads and Lauren Hojnacki.
