Thank you for your interest and consideration of enrolment at Hallam Secondary College.

Below you will find information enabling you to apply for a position in our school community.

Please read over all of the information carefully. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the college.

If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please complete the Application Form (provided below) . If you require a paper form, please contact the school office on (03) 9703 1266.

An enrolment form will be provided when placement is offered.

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.

Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au

All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

  1. students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
  2. all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.

Enrolment Process 2021

In order to be considered for enrolment at Hallam Secondary College you will need to undertake the following process:

  1. Complete the Enrolment Application Form and return it to the college with supporting documents (If you are applying for an Academy then you should include your Academy application form also.)
  2. Include supporting documents include:
    • Most recent NAPLAN results
    • 2 most recent semester reports
  3. Attend an Enrolment Interview where Literacy and Numeracy skills testing and tentative subject selections.
  4. Hallam Secondary College will contact your previous school
  5. A letter of offer or decline will be sent to your family
  6. If successful the transition program information will also be included.
