HEADSTART at Hallam ends the year with a bang as we confirm four new signings over the past week.
Solomon and Bailey both commence their Electrical Apprenticeships, with Solomon transferring schools to Hallam in 2020 specifically in order to access his HEADSTART pathway.
Dakota looks forward to entering year 12 in 2020 as a Carpentry Apprentice, whilst our first female Hallam HEADSTART student, Mia, enters Year 12 as a Trainee Dental Assistant.
Each of these students have committed to pathways as young workers in 2020, whilst accessing the ongoing support of our team to complete their Senior academic programs at Hallam. These are young people taking control of their futures and setting positive examples for their peers. In 2020, Hallam will continue to be at the forefront of providing opportunities such as these for all students.
Our Inner South East cluster is looking to complete 2019 with a predicted total of 25 sign-ups to the HEADSTART program, of which at least seven will be Hallam students. The overall number of signed HEADSTART pathways across the state is fast approaching 130, with still more to come during the final week of term 4.
To the entire Hallam community, we wish you and your families a safe and well-earned holiday break and look forward to sharing in the ongoing success of the school into the new year and beyond…..A very Merry Christmas to all!
Regards, the Inner South East HEADSTART team.
