The Role of the College Council

The College Council provides an opportunity for parents and other members of the community to be involved in setting the educational policy of the school. It is the College’s governing body and it is responsible for developing and maintaining policies that assist and direct the operations of the school. This includes all financial matters and capital works expenditure.

The school values the input of enthusiastic parents who want to help improve the learning outcomes of all students in the school community.

Parents are invited to contact either their parent representatives or the College Principal about College Council matters. The College Council meets once a month and comprises of the College Principal and DEECD Representatives, parents of students attending the school and interested community members.

Any parents/guardians interested in attending or participating in College Council subcommittees are encouraged to contact the school for meeting dates.
